Facts:

By using Green Valley Bags you are helping the environment in many ways. You are helping preserve trees and oil that are used in making paper and plastic bags. You are helping eliminate waste that has the potential to end up in rivers, lakes, forests and streets.

Paper Facts:

We can't just eliminate plastic and go back to paper. It takes 14.8 million trees to produce 955,000 tons of paper bags which was the average made per year before plastic bags were used in grocery stores.

Plastic Facts:

Over 500 billion plastic bags are made every year. Americans alone use 100 billion plastic bags a year (enough to encircle the earth 31 times). One barrel of oil is used to make 12,000 bags. Over 100 million barrels of oil can be saved if we stop using plastic bags in stores.

In large cities, like San Francisco, they spend over $8 million each year to remove and dispose of plastic bags from storm drains and streets. They are now banning plastic bags because of this. Counties like Bangladesh and Ireland have a plastic bag ban.  China, which uses more than 3 billion a day, has recently outlawed them.

Scientist have seen plastic bags in Antarctica because they have been carried there by ocean currents.  Whales have died after ingesting them because they mistake them for jellyfish.

Other uses:

Green Valley Bags are perfect to use at any store, but they can be used in many other ways.

For example:
Use them when you travel for those items you need to keep at hand.
Organize toys and keep little treasures in one place.
Books. Each bag can hold up to 35 pounds.
Use them at the beach or pool. Remember, they are water resistant.
Bring them to fairs, sport shows, home shows, etc. to hold all those free items and information.

Green Valley Bags are very light weight and comfortable to carry.
